Katherine Papa

Katherine M. Papa joined National Fire Adjustment Co., Inc. (NFA) in 2007 and serves as the company’s Vice President. A fourth-generation Licensed Public Adjuster, Katherine specializes in high-value residential and commercial losses throughout New York State. With more than 15 years of experience, she has earned a reputation for her expertise in complex property claims, strategic advocacy, and client-focused recovery.

Katherine is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA), New York Public Adjusters Association (NYPAA), and the Buffalo Executives Association (BEA), where she currently serves as President. She also serves on the Board of Directors for both NAPIA and the American Red Cross – Western New York Chapter.

Within NAPIA, Katherine plays an integral leadership role across multiple committees, including Education, Ethics, Fundraising, Marketing/Public Relations, and Membership. She also serves on NAPIA’s Education Committee, helping to develop conferences that provide continuing education credits in more than 27 states.

A dynamic speaker and educator, Katherine has presented on the use of Broad Evidence in New York State at the First Party Claims Conference (FPCC) and the New York Public Adjusters Association, and co-presented at the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International Expo in Philadelphia on insurance claim readiness and post-disaster risk mitigation. In addition to her extensive experience as a Public Adjuster, Katherine is a certified Appraiser through the Insurance Appraisal and Umpire Association (IAUA).
