Joseph Fernandez

Coming from a family of general contractors, Joseph developed a deep understanding of construction and the challenges homeowners face when dealing with property damage. He pursued his passion for problem-solving by earning a degree in Industrial Engineering, which led to a decade-long career as a Senior Project Engineer for several Fortune 500 companies. While successful in this field, Joseph found himself searching for more meaningful work. That search led him to become an Independent Adjuster (IA), where he provided damage estimates for insurance companies during natural disasters, including major hurricanes in Florida. However, after two years in the insurance industry, he realized the system was heavily skewed against policyholders. He frequently saw his detailed estimates rejected in favor of lower payouts that benefited insurance companies. Determined to advocate for homeowners and business owners, Joseph obtained his Public Insurance Adjuster license in 2022.

Now, as a dedicated Licensed Public Adjuster at Crown Adjusting, he works exclusively for policyholders—not the insurance companies. Joseph has made it his mission to ensure his clients receive the maximum compensation they deserve, helping them rebuild and recover with confidence.
