Jose Luis Cordo

I am a state-licensed and bonded Public Adjuster, Certified Property Insurance Appraiser (CPIA), and Certified Property Insurance Umpire (CPIU) with more than 25 years of experience in the insurance claims industry. I serve as the CEO and Primary Public Adjuster of Cordo Claims Group, LLC, where I represent residential, commercial, condominium, marine, and large-loss policyholders across multiple states.

I am licensed in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Colorado, Maine, and Mississippi, and throughout my career I have helped thousands of homeowners and business owners recover millions of dollars in insurance proceeds. My work includes representing condominium associations, religious institutions, marine vessels, retail operations, and complex commercial properties with significant financial exposure.

I have extensive catastrophe response experience assisting policyholders following hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, hailstorms, freeze-related water losses, and fire losses throughout the United States.

In addition to public adjusting, I serve nationwide as a Certified Property Insurance Appraiser (CPIA) and Certified Property Insurance Umpire (CPIU), providing appraisal and dispute resolution services in complex property insurance matters. I am also WIND Certified as both an Appraiser and Umpire and maintain OSHA certification.

I currently serve as a Board Member of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) and am an active member of NAPIA, GAPIA, IAUA, and the Windstorm Insurance Network (WIND). Through my work and industry involvement, I remain committed to advancing ethical standards, protecting policyholder rights, and promoting transparency throughout the insurance claims process.
