James Montalbano

James Montalbano joined Jansen/Adjusters International in 2017. Serving as a licensed Public Adjuster, he specializes in representing the policyholder in the settlement of policy claims ranging from $200K - $4M+.

Prior to joining the team, James managed commercial construction build outs in the $200K-$1M+ range for retail and hospitality projects, including concession and retail projects at NRG Stadium and Minute Maid Field. Additionally, James negotiated delivery contracts for a chemical company with the major rail carriers, giving him the negotiating skills to work with insurance carriers.

James is a McCombs Business School graduate of the University of Texas and a member of the Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjusters and the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA). Dedicated to helping business owners and homeowners obtain their full settlement, he brings contract negotiation expertise and commercial construction leadership to the organization.

James has co-authored two articles in the November 2021 and January 2022 editions of Today's Hotelier magazine
