Professional Bio
Geremey DeBorde is a licensed Public Adjuster with South Wind Public Adjusters, where he represents Texas homeowners and business owners navigating property losses from hail, wind, fire, storms, and other covered events.
Since becoming licensed in 2021, Geremey has focused his practice on leveling the playing field between policyholders and insurance carriers. He works with the same tools, estimating software, and documentation standards used by insurers to ensure claims are properly evaluated, and settlements reflect the full benefits owed under the policy.
Geremey’s approach to public adjusting is shaped by a career rooted in service and advocacy. He spent 20 years in the medical field, where a “patient first” philosophy demanded empathy, precision, and clear communication in high-stakes situations. Earlier in his career, he developed exceptional client service skills at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, learning how to anticipate needs and deliver results under exacting expectations. Today, that mindset translates directly to his work as a public adjuster—policyholder first, always.
Geremey is Xactimate Level 2 certified, enabling him to prepare detailed, defensible estimates that withstand carrier scrutiny. He is an active member of the Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (TAPIA) and the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA), reflecting his commitment to ethical standards and professional excellence.
A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and a life member of the Texas Exes, Geremey is a proud Longhorn. Based in the Austin–San Antonio area, he handles claims across Texas. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, golfing, and taking in everything Central Texas has to offer—from live music to great food.
