New Leadership Elected at NAPIA Annual Meeting

The National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters elected new leadership at its June 8-11, 2022 Annual Meeting at The San Luis Resort, Spa & Conference Center in Galveston, TX.
Voted in as this year's president was Clay Morrison, CPPA, President of Morrison & Morrison, Inc., a public adjusting firm based in League City, TX. He succeeds outgoing President Anita L. Taff, CPCU of Taff Claim Services, Inc. in Marietta, GA.

Since becoming a member, Morrison has served on numerous NAPIA committees and has been involved in leadership roles as a director and officer. As president, he pledges to be active in all facets of the association, including membership, committee engagement, and advocacy.

In addition to his position as an adjuster and company president, Morrison's experience includes handling claims in every major hurricane since 1998 including Ivan, Katrina, Rita, Ike and Super-storm Sandy. He has served in an expert or appraiser capacity on losses throughout the U.S. and is frequently appointed as an umpire for insurance appraisals. He attained his Certified Professional Public Adjuster (CPPA) designation in 2007 and is a past president of the Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjusters.

"I am proud to serve as president of NAPIA," said Morrison. "This is a very high honor, especially since I have been elected by my peers.
